It is with great pride that we inform you of a significant new milestone in Hunt Slonem’s spectacular fifty-year-long career. The Kunstforum Wien Museum in Vienna, Austria, the leading, globally important venue for contemporary art, has hosted a large-scale solo exhibition of the artist’s forty eight recent paintings in September. Entitled Hunt Slonem: The World of Exotica, this major installation has drawn much critical acclaim and wide media attention. Dr. Gerald Matt, notable Austrian art historian and author, said of the artist in his remarks at the the exhibition opening: "In his works, Hunt Slonem succeeds in taking us into almost otherworldly beauty through the variation of color and shapes, the oscillation between dream and reality.
